History has been made. Only nine years old Selena Khawaja from Abbottabad, Pakistan has successfully summited the Quz-Sar Peak located in the North of Pakistan which is 5765 meters high. She, along with her father Mr. Yousuf Khawaja, made the world record of being the youngest girl around the globe to have summited the Quz-Sar. The expedition took them more than 10 days out of which 7 were completely dedicated to the hike.
Selena is very happy on her achievement and is now more confident to go up the tops of Mingling-Sar which is 6050 meters high, followed by Spantik Peak which is 7027 meters. She is quite determined to reach the Mount Everest (world’s highest peak, 8848 m) in 2019 which will again make her the youngest girl to climb up the top of the highest peak in the world.
All the very best, ‘The Mountain Princess.’
